I still haven't gotten the pilot light issue sorted out, but I had to run the 56 GE dishwasher through a full cycle. It was great! I had blown the breaker on the power bar I used to hook 'er up a couple of times when I filmed the wash action, but I think that was due to some less-than-perfectly-dry connections... When I did the test yesterday, I checked the leads for the pilot light and it shows no voltage... I am back to square one on this. Does anyone have any wiring diagrams or schematics for a model 1 SS60N G dishwasher?? Another little boo-boo, those nibbly mice got at one of the rubber vent tubes that exhaust steam from the unit via the front panel. I'm probably going to be able to rebuild one using galvanized steel, but I am open to suggestions! How necessary would it be to have two vents? The one seemed to pour out a lot of steam. Oh and once again, thank you Robert for the tip about the closed-foam gasket! The tub seal is excellent! |
