I HAVE ONE OF THE LAST MAYTAG WRINGERS MADE, I BOUGHT IT LATE IN 1983 AT A GARAGE SALE. IT HAS A PUMP,
SQUARE TUB, ATTACHED LID, I REMOVED THAT STUPID WRINGER FOOT PEDAL, AND MY 1964 E2L IS MUCH MORE GLAMOROUS THAN THIS ONE, I NEVER MET A MAYTAG WRINGER I DIDN'T LIKE,
KIM

Wringer foot pedal

What was so "stupid" about it?

FOOT PEDAL

I DIDN'T LIKE IT BECAUSE WHEN YOU MOVED WRINGER TO LAUNDRY TUB TO RINSE AND WRING, YOU ALSO HAD TO MOVE FOOT PEDAL, IF IT LOST AIR PRESSURE, THE WRINGER WOULD STOP AND YOU HAD TO PUMP IT AGAIN, TOO MUCH BOTHER. SORRY

Kim,

Thanks for your information. I have a request. Would you mind typing not in ALL CAPS? It's very hard to read and also if you use ALL CAPS on the internet you are actually shouting.

Thanks,

Louis
