Mike,
I know a repair shop in Montreal that has a bunch of dishwasher racks - I can stop in there later this week and check it out.
I may be decomissioning the '89 Maytag in my kitchen in Ogden - it sprung a leak this past weekend and the water got dangerously close to the 56 GE range I am restoring so I am questioning whether or not I should invest any repair time...
Anyway, the racks from this Maytag should fit - I will let you know as soon as I figure out what to do !

Hey Mike,
My parts place just got in a direct-drive Maytag with a dead pump, but they are willing to part out the racks for $75 (Canadian). I can't remember if there is a cutlery basket or not, though. If you're interested, let me know ASAP - I can pick them up for you and then send them to you.
I only have experience with the belt-drive models and they are pretty quiet in my opinion. Well, any dishwasher is quiet compared to the old GE top-loaders!!

Mike, I'd jump on those racks. They're interchangeable. A non-belt drive is quieter.
