I have a question for the gifted here...does anyone know how to add an extension onto the hose of a portable dishwasher to make it longer? I have a Kitchen Aid KDC60A.

Thanks,

Mike

A few problems but possible!

There is no reason why you cannot extend the hoses to that machine as they screw on to the fill valve and clamp on to the drain valve.
Your problem will be in the fact that the original hoses also worked with a retracting machanism.

I would remove the hoses and take them to a reputable hose supplier and have them make you up what you need to extend them. You can find them in the yellow pages under hoses and hydraulic suppliers. There are all kinds of adapters they can fit onto the hoses so that would be your best bet.
You may have to shove the hoses back into the cabinet so make sure they dont catch any wiring which could be ruined if that happened and you went to pull them out.
Good Luck
