These are located in southern Michigan. The seller is asking $600 for the set which I believe is a reasonable price considering they look like they are in nice shape. If you are seriously interested please email me (webmaster@automaticwasher.org). I will give out her email on a first come first serve basis and if for what ever reason the deal doesn't go through I will email the next person on the list.

Man, 3 years newer and I'd be knocking on the door. Not often things show up that are fairly close to me. Too bad. |

Oh no Robert!! I didn't mean it like that at all!! I know they are close to me, but I just do not NEED them. I just cannot understand why someone here would not jump on these. If I did not have a Unimatic in my collection, I would have emailed you to claim them first off. They are rare, and look to be in very good condition. And the price is very fair. What more could a Unimatic-less home ask wish for? <: I could not understand why the 1965 turquoise Kenmore set I sold on ebay this summer only went for %550.00 either. A couple from the Indy area bought them, and they are not even club members. They had restored a 100+ year old farm house and have 5 kids. They were sick of purchasing new top loaders every 4 years, so they were looking for a used set in good shape. When they found my 43 year old restored set on ebay, they jumped on them. But they only sold for $550.00. I was kind of surprised at that. But then again, I guess people are being more careful with money. I am too. <: At any rate the couple that purchased those got a hell of a deal! I had $1000.00 in that set. EVERYTHING in those were new! I feel that a couple years ago that set would have brought much more. |

But there were doubles posted recently on here. Funny that in the entire time I've hung around here, I had never seen a 56 for sale publicly until the ebay auction came up, then a week later the craigslist ad from Michigan popped up. The 56 on ebay was paired up with a BOL DD-58 Frigidaire dryer, not a matching DI-56 filtrator. Certainly hope that the new owner of the lovely set is able enjoy their new beauties! Ben |

They'd eat you alive. With parks on both sides, and me the lone house, thousands of spiders set up camp here. I don't mind the stray dogs and cats who show up for a short stay, or the raccoons, or the bats, especially. Their dusk time sonar flights are magical. A small colony of 6 live here. But unchecked the spiders take over. Trust me. Babies will hatch above or below and suddenly your underarm has a million tiny bites whose annoyance requires a dose of Tea Tree Oil. The birds who do their in-flight spider grabs under the balcony are so much fun, but they can't do it alone. The bug juice alone would drive most you of fine fastidious folks nuts. I'll spare you the details FOR NOW ;'D. Here's the upside: The small salt n' pepper screen spider and the Daddy Long Legs, are easy to live with, so the Kirby and the birds let them be. This is a ball. Thanks!!! Happy Friday. Nate, tell the Good Witch to get the Poppy dust ready, and tell the Munchkins I'm on my way, and the Kirby has a flea attachment for Toto too;'D Hope I'm in time for the literary circle! |
