and have a couple of suggestions: First, make sure your dryer is free of lint. This means getting out all of the lint accumulated inside the cabinet. You may even have to go in behind the drum. You will need a long handled brush. If you don't have the Frigidaire Filtrator brush, one of those dryer vent cleaning kits will probably have a brush that will work. Secondly, you may want to lower the temperature. These dryers were very hot. I never set the temperature on mine above "medium." (Advice from my mother who had a Filtrator when I was a boy.) Hope that helps. Wait until you dry towels in a Filtrator....nothing sweeter or softer! |
