Here is the crate from You Crate which showed up in my garage on Friday. You-Crate has Craters and Freighters beat hands down. Notice the Thermador Convection Thermal Oven from Greg that I still haven't had installed.

This thing was incredibly easy to unpack. Notice the KD-5 top-loading KitchenAid dishwasher in the background. All kinds of appliances around here!

I hate to admit this, but she is the same vintage as me. Now to slick-talk someone into helping me get her downstairs to the basement. Now off to find the drain hoses for the suds-return system. Thanks Robert!!!!

Congrats on the Whirlpool. Kenmores seem to get so much attention, but this WP is really great. Please show more pics and videos after you get it in place.

If only I weren't so far away,
Dave

Fred, not to jack your thread or anything but this is what the inside looks like. Same EXACT machine. Very different from the later BD Whirlys.

1952 Whirlpool Washer

If you happen to get a video of this, it would be the oldest WP washer model demo to be added to my Vintage Appliance Videos collection. Reminds me of that classic "Mother Takes a Holiday" film from archive.org. Congrats on finding this beauty. Looking forward to those vids.--Laundry Shark

Hi Fred,

Congratulations, that is my all time favourite machine :) I loved using it when I visited Robert.

All the best with it, and you must be chuffed that you've snagged such a gem.

Cheers

Nathan
