I finally had time tonight to get my new find hooked up and started running. KEY850 Superba Dryer, cleaned out and works well with 4 Heat Settings Auto Dry TOL. Washer KAW5850

KAW5850Washer Controls, has infinite speeds as well as certain speed settings must link to the auto temp in the water temperature settings. Heavy towels and cottons does not dumb down the water.

Filling Dispenser 1 minute of water running through the dispenser every time you open the lid. Then it fills in tub.

Filling in tub after 1 minute The water comes out of a very strange place unlike the old style KA or Whirlpool.

I checked out the website and they no longer make them. I looked at Sears and Lowes and both have takend KA laundry off. | ||

Good Point I m in agreement, I would have thought they would have used this KA as a perfect way to make the Maytag special. This machine has great features that would have worked very well and set the Maytag apart from the Whirlpool. | ||
