Thanks to the moderator(s) & all who share the love for the vintage appliances. Also thanks to member Tuthill who was so nice to reply to my email and his help with getting started with the group. He referred me to (what I now call) "The One That Got Away" with that Hotpoint DW that was mentioned in post #17715 and now I'm dyyyyyying because, even with it's problems, I'd have taken it, but (as usual) I am a few too many months too late in finding you all. If anyone comes across another of these 55-56 Hotpoint front loading dishwashers, please let me know. I am not worried about it being that functional (although functional is nice)since I will be happy to just use it for dish drain/storage. The one in the pic is my aunt's, which was tossed in the early 80's before I got a chance to grab it. Sorry it's not showing the whole thing but it had the round colored light at the bottom like the one in posting 17715. I am in Arlington VA where you just don't seem to find these sort of things anymore. Thanks for everyone posting pictures. I will try to take and post some pics of my appliances as soon as I can.
