I recently purchased a home with a KD-12 dishwasher in good working condition. Just a few days ago I pulled it out and it needs a new home. I'm in Salem, OR. If your interested, make me an offer. I want it to go to someone who appreciates the era. (Pic is similar too)

Thanks!

I'm moving to Oregon!! LOL!

Little inside joke, Tamara. LOTS of vintage appliances from Oregon have been posted up here lately. Someone here will certainly be interested.

BTW, WELCOME!

I would LOVE a KD-12, but I live on the opposite side of the country and haven't got the means to get this one. Thank you for posting it for someone to grab and appreciate rather than just putting it out with the trash.

See if Robert will post a link to the archived thread of his KD-12. He installed lights and a large window in the door and made it very interesting indeed, and also made it look like it came that way from the factory.

Thank you for offering this venerable Kitchen Aid to be saved,
Dave

Thank you for the warm welcome. I didn't realize there was such a fan base for vintage appliances. I think it's great!

It may not fit into the style of your kitchen, but that machine with TLC, can outclean just about anything on the market today.

I would love to have the KitchenAid, at least as a parts back up for my KDS-14P. I am in Tacoma, WA so it's not that far. How much are you thinking about?
