Are you ready for this?? LG now makes a Kenmore set like theirs with the booster, high speed spin(1200RPM),and rear control panel. It's different because its tub (the washer)is not tilted back.It also spins counter clockwise.Mine spins clockwise most of the time.Anywho,The set is $1600($799ea) and says Kenmore instead of LG on it.

I was at The Great Indoors and my local Sears at Memorial Park Mall.At the mall, they are rezapping their showroom to accomadate at least 20 different stacked Whirlpool,Kenmore,Electrolux,Frigidaire,Samsung,Maytag and GE front loaders and some that were free standing including the new Sears Kenmore made by LG. TGI had already spent a lot of time and money on their displays which are a lot less clostrophobic feeling when you go there.Nonetheless,it looks as though both stores are really pressing the Horizontal Axis gems and I told everybody I know at least 20 years ago this was going to happen including a 27 page letter to WCI/Frigidaire which they sill have.I sort of feel like a profit. |

As many of you know I will Not buy LG but I looked at it and is basically the same model as LG back control models. I wondering if it has the unecessary direct drive. Yes drum is straight up. And I don't think it has the sprayer. In fact I notice most of these newer LG's don't have the sprayer. Unless I am missing something. Also this model doesn't have the rollerjets. I really don't understand the point of sears doing this? But to me they mostly all seem like such BS. Peter |
