The dryer is slightly older than the washer. The dryer is from the early 80s, and the washer, mid 80s. |

Ok, so I gather the dryer is made between 1980-84. And I believe it's DE710. The washer is between 1985-1994. |

The washer is a 8840. I picked up a pair last week. I took it a part and the inside tub has the slots for the lint filter but they are plugged. My agitator has the lint filter in it. |

The washer is the same one my mother has. Purchased in 1992, when the 1970 died. |
