I am curious if you could help me with the value of this washing machine...& if so, would I be permitted to place it on your site for sale. It is model #91562 Serial #5541. It was rebuilt in 1975, a new transmission, oil & gasket, spin tube, top bearing seals, pump, & belt. It is in perfect working order. Thank you for your consideration in this matter. That's the only surviving one in that style as far as I know. Looks to be in great shape. |

Wow - the washer that started it all for belt drives. This seriously needs to be in a museum collection. Very cool - and your right Brian I think this might be the only one that has come up over the years here. Like all other machines, the value is what the buyer is willing to pay (max), and what the seller is willing to let it go for (lowest). I think the agitator is a very worn bakelite surgilator with the original metal cap. Ben |
