Pierre, I think the Inglis Niagra would be a match for this dryer. It looks like a MOL model; reminds me a lot of a Belanger set that some neighbors had when I was a kid.

Good to have some 'Canadian Content' on the board, eh! I'm actually starting to seriously look for an older Viking set - I could kick myself but when I moved to my first house in 1989 a co-worker gave me a 1974 Viking washer and dryer in Harvest Gold! I gave it away to a charity in 1994 when I moved... sigh!

This is the Inglis Sterling 1979 model. The mate to the dryer is a self cleaning, belt drive model, with 5 temp setting and infinite water level - 2 speed. Quite a Good washer (my parents had this exact pair - I actually picked it out in 1979)...however it only lasted for about 7 years. The tub leaked in to the tranny - what a mess.

This washer had an electric fabric and bleach dispenser. The normal and perm cycle has a super wash (uses the partial drain / soak feature).

I think I might a photo of this washer in my archive.

Bob
