It is sad that this year marks the centennial, of the dependable maytag washer ( and whirlpool is doing it,("never") ) If only whirlpool could make the dependable (maytag) washer.( "Never"). Hope!

Here's my take

 I love Maytag. I love Whirlpool. Each has contributed a TON to the world of laundry, but the thought of them together makes me puke.
