Pretty cool unit! The Japanesse have some pretty strange washers. Toshiba made a washer-air condtioner combo!

Actually Japan is on 100v AC and I'm sincerely doubting it WRINGS clothes dry...

Hey Funny! How 'bout a pic of that dual-purpose unit!

I bought it. I needed a "fix". I'll let you all know when it arrives. I'm curious as to what kind of water inlet adaptor it will need. Does anyone know how the hook up inlet valves in Japan are different?

That Toshiba washer-a/c unit ...

That's the one I was talking about when the heat-pump dryers were being discussed in a different thread a few days ago. "Different", shall we say ... not the least bit strange :-)

Well, it arrived...

all bashed and the tub suspension busted. I've already looked, and could fix it to make it work, HOWEVER, since this is from Japan, I can't find any parts providers online.

Real shame, it would have been interesting learning to use it. I did find out that it has a turbo dry feature. Very strange since it's a top loader impeller machine!

Feel your pain and am very sorry for you.

Was the item badly packed by the seller, or was it just out right abused by the shipper?

Maybe you can find a way for parts to be shipped to the USA from Japan.
