Hey fellas,

Does anyone have any ideas where I could find a Maytag wringer N2LPS gooseneck? The wringer is fun to use, but the neighbors look at me funny when I spray the hose into the yard. I'd really like to use it with my laundry sink. Anybody have an extra or seen on in dead stock somewhere? Thanks fellas.

While at Ace Hardware this weekend Will, I thought about you. While it wouldn't be the original factory goose neck - I did see an aluminum goose neck that you could clamp a hose to. Then clamp the other side to a garden hose connector, and voila - a goose neck that will work on a Maytag! Wouldn't be factory, but certainly functional.

That may work, I just took a shot in the dark and thought I'd ask. I came close to getting one off Craigslist. I wrote someone who had decided to scrap theirs since no one wanted it... Then I found it a home. The preservationist in me had to try and save it. oh well. I really would rather have a 'real' one, but I may try your modified one. I'd been trying to figure out how to make one without a welding, but had been coming up blank. Thanks for the idea.

If anyone comes across one though, let me know!

I too have been trying to find a gooseneck for a long time. They seem to be very rare and hard to find. I you by chance come across an extra one let me know! I will do the same!

I wish you guys had posted this about 6 months ago! I had 2 Maytag Wringers with the goosenecks and I had them both hauled away as they were both beyond repair and I really didn't feel like having 3 Maytags around, so I kept the automatic which happened to die not 3 weeks after I got rid of the Wringers... oh well!

DOH!

I know the feeling. When my great aunt died, I was not yet wringer aware, we threw away the gooseneck. She did not have a sink in her garage and drained the machine in the yard. I remember seeing it in a random drawer and wondering what it was. Alas, it's gone now. Grr.

I just need to remember to call them after work. I keep forgetting about them.
