HELP! I've been trying for several years now to find a Youngstown top loading dishwasher. The model I'm looking for is built into a kichen cabinet and has a sink next to it.

Lots of pictures on Ebay of what this looks like, but I want the real thing!

Any help would be appreciated; I have an old Youngstown metal kitchen..., and this would be fantastic.

I wouldn't mind if it didn't work, I would like it for a conversation piece; it would at least have to look good!

Thanks Everyone!

I think we all would like to find a Youngstown.GE Electric Sink or a KitchenAid Sink Combo. I know here on the East Coast, they're pretty much nonexistent.I would say look at every Estate Sale where homes are built between the 40's and 50's. Eddie

Every blue moon or so, I still see one. We have ALOT of older homes here in the Reno/Sparks area with Youngstown kitchens. Seems to me the most common model I see is a pull out model. If I trade out another with a new, I'll post it here to give members a chance.

I hope you'll post pics of your Youngstown kitchen here someday - metal cabinets are the best! I used to have a St. Charles kitchen, and I'm still kicking myself for not keeping that house.

P.S.: Congrats to Detroit for the re-opening of the Book-Cadillac. That's a huge step forward for your town, and I think in years to come, the Book-Cadillac restoration will be seen as the "tipping point" that began to reverse years of problems in your great city.

The house next to mine has a beautiful KitchenAid DW Sink. It is in great condition except the motor burned out in the dw. The metal cabinet and porcelain sink top are in good condition. I am not sure of the model number but it is one with the cast iron wash arm and the cardoor handle. The widow ( in her mid 80's) that lives there knows I want it when she decides to sell the house. Next time I see her I will ask if I can take some pictures of it.
