Most people that I know don't worry about spin speeds unless there is some sensation around it. 1000 rpm spin, amazing! I like 800 rpm for perm press, jeans, otherwise they wrinkle badly. I have a client that I do sheets for that has thin sheets that I also use 800 for. There is nothing like having them set in before they go in the dryer. As far as big loads in the dryer, yes, it is not good to overload this one, as things will not dry all of the way, and they will have wrinkles in my experience. I also do not have the washer hooked up to hot as it has a heating element in it. Miele says that it was ok, so that is what I did and have not looked back. This model heats all the way to 190F or 95C. |

I guess that I get in such habit of filling the machine up that you sometimes forget basic things like this. I do wear alot of jeans, I just use the wrinkle free setting or set the spin slower and presto! no wrinkles! Wrinkle free is usually what I set it on to have a quick program. I have it all the way down to 37 min, and less as the machine figures out that it is my rare time that I would have a two item load, ie when I am washing my uniform for work and need it because it is my only one I have at the moment. Even at 37 min, perfection! It is funny since I bought this set, my Mother had some sweaters that she wanted me to get a stain out of. No problem, I am an old hand at that no matter what the machine. When I gave my Mom her sweaters back, she thought that I bought her new ones. They were not cream colored any more, they were white. She said that they looked better than when they were new. Dirt is not a fashion statement is one of my favorite sayings.
