Hi Everyone,
I am becoming more and more interested in the older Maytag's and have had my eye out for a set.(Of course Murphy's Law wouldn't you know it, when I didn't care for Maytag's they where all over the place, on the street, on CL everyday...now that I want one, their isn't a one in sight! LOL!) The problem is knowing which model is which. I went to Maytag.com to see what info they had, hoping to find a listing/picture of each control panel for each machine. But when I tried to put in for example, A712 the system said I needed at least 6 digits.
I know I've seen on here a magazine ad or maybe it was an old brochure, that listed several models, along with the control panel and the options. Could someone re-post that again?
It would be nice to have a reference when I see things on CL as well as to be able to narrow down my search to decide which machine I would like the best.
Thanks!
Laurent

Check out partselect.com. They have breakdown pics that include the console. They don't have the really old stuff, like before 1966.

Are you looking for TOL or just about any model? Here is a set that appears to be upper MOL.

Thanks Dan!

Funny, I actually saw that washer/dryer a couple of weeks ago and was beside myself. She had originally had no pictures, just the ad for washer and 'electric' dryer, so I asked if she had pictures or a model number. She gave me the model numbers and sent me those pix's. I was crushed to learn the model number for the dryer was DGxxx but her ad had said electric dryer. So i confirmed with her and then she corrected her ad. I'm bummed. Just about what I'm looking for. I would love an avocado or harvest gold set (whatever model those colors came in)!

Thanks again Dan for the info. That was very nice of you. :)
