I picked up this little beauty for $25. Right now, it doesn't agitate. Does anyone have a cutaway, or ghosted image, so I can see what the insides look like?

I have been politely informed that indeed this, rather than a dial, would be the "money shot."

ooh, pretty!

Go Wes!

You are one of the only other person I know in our age group who owned a wringer washer before they bought an automatic. As a matter of fact, you are the only other person I know in our age group who owns a wringer washer.

Well, it predates me owning an automatic washer by less than a week.

check the linkage

From the agitate switch to the shift fork. If the motor runs and the wringer rollers work then the tranny is not your problem (very rare for SQ trannys to go).

Classiccaprice, I'm in your age group as well, and my first machine was a maytag wringer. I still have it. My second machine was my easy spindryer which I still have, and then finally I got my first automaticwasher a 1963 Lady Kenmore. So a third one in your age group. :)

Horay! And then there were 3! I've known Wes for years. Justin, it's a shame you aren't closer, we could have a 20-something wringer wash-in.

I love the Maytag wringer. A 1977 N2LPS, that was my great aunts. I've had it for years. :) Thanks Dave for the help repairing it.

Nice Speed Queen, but I would love to see a more photos of the Maytag A206 next to it.

Have a good one,
James
