No idea what year, they are already on the scrap truck, $175 buys the pair. Fri at 4, they will be crshed.

Be Happy. Matt

Matt, how do you get all these great finds? You must have a golden touch (pun intended) I rarely find anything here in Florida. If you get a hold of a Westinghouse spacemates pair (front load) I want! I had them in the 80's, got them used at Salvation Army for $20 and got rid of them when I moved.

Happy Holidays and thanks for always offering these great finds!

Beautiful set: Those are 1965 800s. RickR had a set just like those. I know he had them up for sale not too long ago, but I can't remember if he sold them. I hope these go to a good home.

Have a good one,
James

Though I understand the need to support yourself, it would seem that selling these could be sold for much less than $175 and still make you more than scrapping them. Seriously, what will they bring in scrap, $25 maybe?

Travis, these are not my machines. They are someone else's. I don't have the space or money to buy everything I see. I take pics, post them, and if someone wants them, I get them. Already my shop is stuffed with cool aplliances. I can't buy stuff and then have it sit in my shop for a year or two. Does that make sense? I can buy the set for $75, and I need $100 for my time, transport and shipping prep. I'm not making money off sets like this, I'm just putting them out there. I paid out for that cool Hamilton condensing dryer I posted, and no one was interested, now what do I do with it? It just sits.

As far as the stuff I find, I don't know, I guess I have a good nose, or just plain good luck, I do find a lot of cool stuff, and I know a lot of people. Some people don't know what they have, other people are very savvy. The smart ones demand vintage prices, but at least they don't beat up the machines like ignorant people.

Matt

I'm willing to save them

Just sent an e-mail. I'd like to get them actually and should be able to get them transported out of Michigan fairly easily (I hope).

Cross your fingers. If anyone else wants them, great, but I can shelter them and find them a good home either of my own or with someone who'll enjoy them.

Gordon

I would love to give them a good home, it's just that money is a little tight right now since I'm not working. I think they would look nice sitting next to my other Kenmore set, when ever I get them here, LOL.

Hooray Gordon! I hope you do get them; as they would be nice additions to your collection. Hopefully they won't require much work. From the outside they look to be in fair condition. Hopefully it is that way with the interior.

Have a good one,
James
