Is this a GM Frigidaire 1-18 or a WCI? The price seems reasonable and I am interested if it is a GM.

Thank you,
Dave

looks to be GM, but I really can't tell, the image is too blurry/small. Someone else will probably know!

Yes it's a GM - I can tell by the lid.

I think you should hold out for one with a window in the lid. :)

IMO,You can always harvest a window lid from a junked-out machine later. Also, there is not too much to see with the window lid as the window is too small anyway.
Better to by-pass the stupid saftey switch, don your goggles and watch all the action with the lid open.

That's a WIA model. Great machine. "Fabric-master" with the cold water key. Definitely a keeper!

I Agree with Gyrafoam

mine has the window lid, and don't get me wrong it's nice and all and you can see some of the action, but if I want to watch the Frigidaire doing it's thing I just stick a screw in the switch opening and leave the lid open... better stand back when the Deep Rinse starts, lol

Looks like a GMFR 1-18, just bypass the stupid lid switch. Nut wire together the two leads to the switch, ignore the green(ground). Piston driven machines are the best IMHO, make sure the bearing is not roaring when it spins.
