looks pretty nice

love that despite how modern it looks, the back of the drum is still the same style as my mam's TL61, which is 10 in March :)

mmmmmmmmmmmm!

Rob doesnt like the look - he has never been a fan of the Aqualtis aesthetics.

But i am quite taken with them. They took a while to grow on me but they succeded in doing just that.

Cant wait till Hotpoint updates their brochures, so we can see some side by side piccies and more details of the machine/machines.

Anyone know whether it is one model of dryer, or are they doing a couple of different versions.

Cheers for posting the piccy.
Paul

Well one thing for sure... an aqualtis with 1600 rpm leaves the clothes so dry, the dryer won't take long! energysavings + easy laundry care!

that's so true coz 1600 spin in hotpoint aqualtis leaves 38% misture where as others including miele, hoover etc leave 44%.

so energy savings, quick drying times and laundry care and more time for yourself!

Ooooh i like that video. That touch sensitive display is rather nice. I know i shouldn't like it as i've just had a crap experience with an indesit company product...hmm. I'll be gettin a logixx 8 before i get one of those. There nice though.

Only thing i'll say is the shirt racks are clever, but you wouldn't be able to wash many. And they look abit flimbsy.

Darren

Darren, just 3 shirts in a cycle but i think their distribution wash action would be perfect for that!

and yeah if they've fixed up their problems like the balancing issue then it'd be a great product!

Have to agree, thats the first thing i thought! Distribution wash for that!!

If they'd sorted the balancing it'd be really good!

yep distribution wash! balancing won't need to take place as the load will be even on the shirts cycle so straight to spin!

Hi Everyone!

Long to no speak! Hope your all well!

heres a close up of the control panel for the dryer.. incase you haven't see it yet!

I like the new layout!
Looks like the dryer also has steam refresh and a crease release program
(the t-shirt at the very top of the dial and the iron next to it)

Not sure what the difference is between the 2 cottons programs are.. and the 2 shirts progs and the 3 delicates ones. Seems a bit weird to have a half load button too

I have an Aqualtis 1600 RPM Silver version and it's a FANTASTIC machine. I can't fault it and it's over a year old now.

Wash results : Excellent
Rinsing : Excellent
Spin : Excellent
Cycle times : Excellent, not ridiculously long, not too short.
Controls: Excellent and very flexible and intuitive.
Build quality : Really good (surprisingly for Indesit).

Aqualtis is in a whole different league to other Indesit company laundry products. They're moving upmarket quite substantially with Aqualtis and their new kitchen products like the 4-door fridges etc.

Something I don't get... does the washer wash those shirts in that plastic cover, or are they just steamed in it?

Post# 322647 , Reply# 17   1/5/2009 at 17:39 (5,582 days old) by matchboxpaul (U.K)

I really do like them!

Heres a challenge to Hotpoint - an Aqualtis dishwasher!
How the hell would that work?

Aqualtis Drying

As a kid I used to love the fact that the "catalogues" would have the latest stuff a few months before everyone else, i.e. shops etc, now I hate tha fact!!!...Lol not even the official website has them yet!!!

Looks good, a nice match, just hoping that there is a silver matching one!!!the Aqualtis AQGD169S has been our best selling machine, and with exception of one machine with a faulty LED panel, not a problem with any of them!!!

The difference on the cottons programmes is degrees of dryness etc, extra, normal and then damper for ironing, the shirt holder seems a cool feature, its used in the washer, but the fact you would have to fold it like a Prada Shop Shelf sort of puts me off a lot!!!

If anyone wants a good deal on the AQGD169S, let me know, its on sale at the moment and more off for AW members of course!!!

Happy washing!!!, Mike

Tut tut Mike, low prices, encouraging my other half even more to get/want an Aqualtis as our daily driver.

Im fast running out of excuses not to have one now, especially as the matching dryer is now out.

Need excuses to keep the 18361 or the 95620 as daily drivers.....

HELP!

The Aqualtis tumble dryer looks great and it's about time that it became part of the range lol.

I've been anticipating it for ages before it even came, my Uncle who works in an Euronics had told me about it as well as a few rumours on here on it.

But still, it's fantastic. I'd be happy to get 1 any day lol.

To Mike:

How can you possibly offer the aqualtis for that price?! It's less than half the averange retail price of 700-750€ here in Italy! If There wasn't international shipping involved I'd get the machine from you right now!

The difference on the cottons programmes is degrees of dryne

l86810's profile picture
Mike, I think the 'sensor dry' button (with the sun) would determine that.

Maybe its the thickness of the items your drying?

RIGHT!!!!!

Have grown sick and tired of mot being able to see the Aqualtis dryer properly - Hotpoints website has still not been updated (when is the machine released for sale?).

Soooo have just spent the last 30mins or so painstakingly piecing together screen grabs from the Freemans website and below is the finished result.

I make no apologies for uploading it as a big picture - its just to aid seeing the details etc.

Not a bad looking machine in my opinion and i cant wit to see amatching pair side by side.

enjoy
paul

My Aqualtis

I use to hate Hotpoint machines, until I bought the Aqualtis AQXXF149PM. Great machine, but the cotton cycle takes so long to complete. Over 2 hrs for the cotton 60 wash.

Aqualtis washer and dryer

Have moved into a new house this weekend and just purchased the aqualtis washer and dryer. Have not unpacked them yet but looking forward to seeing them side by side, will try and take some pics. Very excited about the dryer.
