Looks like a Kenmore. Probably a belt drive.

Looks like a Kenmore to me. Possibly an 80 Series.

Year?

They all pretty much looked identical from at least 79-85. Hard to narrow it down to one particular year without a serial #

Probably one of the first of these center-dials since it's avocado. Also, probably a 60 series since it doesn't even have a pre-wash cycle, has the manual clean filter, and gold agitator.

"everythingold":

The washer in your photo is a Belt-Drive "Match All" Standard Capacity Kenmore.

Year or vintage??? I'm not so sure about. But I'm guessing late 1970's/early 1980's.

Looks like it is a model below the one I grew up with as a teenager (this one looks like a One Speed/Three Cycle Washer with a Waterfall Lint Filter and a Straight-Vane Agitator...... the one I grew up with as a teenager (1978) was a Two Speed/Four Cycle Washer with a Self-Cleaning Lint Filter and a Penta-Swirl Agitator with an Agitator Mounted Fabric Softener Dispenser).

But!!!!! What the hell happened to that control panel???

I'm thinking this washer is from 1976 to 1978/9. Although the control panel and agitator were around for quite awhile after, the lint filter looks like an older style than those that I have seen on Whirlpools and Kenmores from the 1980s. I don't know if this is the bed of nails type filter, but judging from the outward appearance, I am guessing this particular filter was issued in mid 70s Kenmores.

Have a good one,
James

When I was growing up I had a neighbor with this model. It's one of those not BOL but not MOL models. Hi/Lo water level, smaller capacity machine. Our neighborhood was built in 1976 so I'm going to assume that neighbor bought theirs new that year when the house was new. I've also noticed that the older black consoles had a sort of red glare to them where later ones did not. This has to be one of the earliest black console models.

This is the 1976 model 60 which is Gordon's Green Beast Kenmore. If it's not, it sure is a dead ringer for it prior to restoration (right down to the pattern of dirt, LOL!). He did an amazing job making look and run like factory new.

I remember White Rotoswirls out in 1977. Did the straight vane ever go to the white color? I would have to agree about the year of 1976. alr2903
