I have a freind who has a HDE606 dryer that took off all the wires to the motor capacitator to replace the heating element and now can't figure out how it gets re-wired.

The capacitator has three prongs on the left for wire 6, 3, and 1 and three on the firht for wire 5, 4, 2, but then he has a #30 wire.
Any one know of a color/wire number diagram for this model?

Thanks,

Phil

I can't quite make out your post so I included a very poor scan. Hope this helps!

Oops, the third is just a combination of the two. As Mrs. Latella used to say, "Nevermind".

Thanks Ken,

It helps to have the details. The Maytag dryers are pretty straightforward in terms of wiring, but we dont know who was there before us.
