Definitely look nicer than the last generation, especially with the 1990s Tricity-Bendix style door handle... just a shame what lies underneath the pretty exterior lol.

hmmm

Ther're better than the previous models, but I'm sure they're just the same rubbish underneath.

Anyone else think they look a bit more like the current Hotpoints? The controls scream Hotpoint to me lol.

Matt

hi ariston4life,
you are right what a great looking machine!
Looks alot like the Indesit WD12S, easy to be seduced by great looks, do your self a favour pay more and get a decent machine.

I was wondering when someone was going to post this before me! lol I saw them and immeidately thought they'd make them all centre dials so the pcbs would fit both hotpoint and indesits!

I like them, especially the door handles and the 7kg models with countdown display:-)

I have revised my opinion of indesits. I support people in the community, most have indesits and I must say the arent that bad considering what they cost. THey wash well and have decent water levels......and to be honest the cabinets are stronger that the hotpoint my hubby bought last.

My sister just bought a bol indesit after having a whirlpool 1400 ( think it was the same as RobM had ) and she loves it. Washes quicker, same results.....family of 5 thats what you need. Ok it may only last a few years but gives her chance to save up ( and with a bit of brotherly help ) for a miele.

yeah Darren i was also wondering if anyone would post this before me, i also think it screams hotpoint due to the control panel layout and the indesit name on the door, on hotpoints it says hotpoint at the same place.

BTW empiredirect now closed! :(

thanks

I am very Curious about the Indesit. Reason being they have a combo over here in America made by splendide. I don't have the reliablity of these machines. Any comments.

I've also found out on the argos website and in the catalogue that it has a 15minute quick wash and the 7kg version has jeans program etc. Go on Indesit, improve then you'll make more sales!

The 6kg and 7kg are 53.5cm deep but the simpler basic model with 1100 spin is 45cm deep and also 6kg. wierd but good for people with small depths, i know newer machines vcan cause problems as my neighbour had to destroy a bit of their kitchento get the new LG in!

The new Indesits look nice but I've never seen them with a centre-dial before lol. The dial is usually on the right with the current models.

I just hope the quality has improved and the reliability flaws have been ironed out, that way it can be a much better machine lol.

I wonder if the new control panel layout will make it on to other models, I'll have to wait and see.
