Eddy, what a great pic. I loved that design of Speed Queen. Simple, functional, yet stylish and dramatic too. Is that your washer? Does it light up? thanks for posting |

Absolutely! Welcome and enjoy the club, we're having a convention of our members here in Omaha this summer (end of June)and you are more than welcome to come and enjoy the sights and sounds of vintage washing! I have a 1954 Speed Queen set up and running and if I can squeeze a little time into the schedule, another late 60's washer that needs some work. These are wonderful machines, several members here have some great models - Eddy has the best collection of them though, all beautiful and working too! Greg CLICK HERE TO GO TO gansky1's LINK |

Here's a pic of it washing away, hard to see the full effect of the control light because of the flash but you can see kind of where the bulb is located. Kevin, I have yet to find a filter for my Speed Queens :-( I do have a fabric softner dispensor, which are not that easy to find these days either. Glad you're enjoying the pics and I will upload more of my different machines soon. |

Now THAT is a cool-lookin' SQ!!! I also like the Canadian SQ with the "cushy" vinyl padding in the control panel! Approx. what years are they? |
