I thought I'd post a picture of this wringer sitting upstairs at the appliance shop I'm helping to clean out. It's a Hotpoint LW28M. I haven't talked price with him; if anyone might be interested in picking it up from his place in Delaware, well, let me know. I can get more details. My wife nearly gave permission to bring it home and put it in the laundry room; that sounds like a slippery slope! With over 100 TV sets, I don't need to get started on another hobby!

100 tv sets?

Are the tv sets the tube tvs? do you restore them yourself? And can we see pics? I have about 30 tv sets from the late 40's to the early 70's. The majority of them are from the 50's though. And then I have about 150 tube radios.

Hotpoint wringer

Hi, Was the shop you are helping clean out a Hotpoint dealer? I am always looking for Hotpoint items and appliances. I am currently looking for late 1950s Hotpoint ranges, parts and literature. Take care & thanks! Walt

Hotpoint...& CTC-5

While they were primarily a Whirlpool dealer it looks like they must have sold Hotpoint as well at one time. There are some Hotpoint parts-not a lot. If you have a specific need feel free to let me know; or drop me an email and I'll reply with the full list.

I've posted a screenshot of my CTC-5; for those who don't know, this was RCA's color tv set for the 1957 season. I restored mine; one of the toughest projects I've taken on! Replacing the capacitors isn't so bad, but the troubleshooting that followed was a challenge. I could do another one, though I'm not sure when I'd want to take it on. I'm trying to think who else I could reccommend. I know of a couple guys right now who are in the process of bringing one back to life.
