Hi, all. I can't find it but when I was a little kid I remember watching a Doris Day movie and her stupid kids put some marbels in an impeller type DW and it broke all her china to pieces. Does anybody have a clue where to find it? Thanks SOOOO much......Bill in Az.....

My first thought was The Thrill of It All, 1963, w/James Garner. But I bet it's more likely Please Don't Eat the Daises, 1960, w/David Niven. She had four boys in the film; that seems a better chance. Both are available on DVD.

(The Thrill of It All is the film where James Garner drives his car into (unbeknownst to him) a newly-installed swimming pool. The movie is pure 1960's kitsch).

I think it was her tv show. I have Daisies and Thrill and that scene isn't in either.

I have that episode. Doris is baby-sitting for a friend. Their unruly kids put marbles in the dishwasher. This was in the first or second season while she was still living on the farm.
.. so the kids broke the china... Que Sera Sera...

More info:
Doris Day Show. Season 1. Episode 22. March 25, 1969.
"The Baby Sitter".
Doris finds herself in the middle of chaos while taking care of the children of a neighbor about to have a baby.

Paul's notes:
Turqoise dishwasher. Likely GE. ZOOM of dishwasher reveals staff covered up logos. Marble were placed in silverware basket. Also find the vintage color-TV. Do you remember the popcorn hyjinx?
