Hello Pete As long as they are slipping i would not worry, to spin a load of wet washing puts a lot of strain on the drive system, so the belt will soak up some of the load as it gathers speed.....thus taking somew of the strain off the motor On the other hand if you cant sleep for worrying......splash out on a new set :-) It good to hear you are enjoying your machine aswell, they are great to watch and use, and as you say they wash very well Here is a link to my very old 3334 spinning a full load for comparison, if yours picks up better than mine then i would say you have nothing to worry about. Hi Pete, If its pumping out the water quickly from the start and coming up to full speed within 30secs with a full load I would say the belts are fine!!! better with slight play than very tight as Gary says it will put undue starain on the motor... the T5090 wash belt is designed to work just by weight of the motor hanging on it...not liek the previous machines that where bolted in place |
