Jon Charles, I don't know whether to be more envious of the fact you're in Maui or of the pretty, pretty Maytags all lined up. Thanks for thinking of us. Oh, and those of us in southern Minnesota are looking forward to freezing rain and snow, tomorrow, LOL. Aloha!

Wow your in Maui Jon...very nice pics. Its been kinda warm here...yesterday we hit 60 so the snow is melting away fast. The street crews were out in full force repairing all the potholes...very bad year it seems for them. One thing thats left here after the snow melted is the dirt and lots of it.
Just figured I would give you a reality update when you come back to Boston dear....Oh and it it aint that pretty here right now....

Jon, great photos! I hope you are having a really GREAT and very relaxing time!!

Are you staying at, or next to Sheraton in Kaanapali?? That photo looks like it. Have you gone to the top of Haleakala to watch the sunrise yet??

We stayed at the Westin and I just loved the Kaanapali area, it's so beautiful!

Good eyes there! We are at the Resort Quest right in Ka'anapali. That picture was taken down the board walk at the Hyatt another beautiful property here. Nice shot of the sunrise!
We are going out to Molokini on Monday gonna swim with the fish--ALTHOUGH
I am already swimming with the Whales, they are birthing and breeching right off our beach so when I put my head under water my ears are filled with Whale song! Too Beautiful!!!
Mike it can ALL melt away as far as I am concerned I hope to see no snow when////if I get back!
I really like this place though, we have the largest beach, my friend owns two condos here and the place was built only two stories high so you see trees and beach not building.

Here is a shot up Kapalua way we took a drive up north and where we heard Slack Key Guitar last nite. Boy am I gonna smell funny when I get back to Artemis!!!

Aloha
jon

you are so right that Hyatt is a gorgeous property, its where I took the shots of the Japanese garden and black swans.

Tonight I made MahiMahi encrusted with Macadamia nuts, lime from the trees outside and guava coconut relish ontop. We ate on the Lanai DELICIOUS!

Here is the State Championships of the Outrigger paddlers!

I rowed in College, and this is a very different sport. First its in a canoe and you paddle both sides port and starboard 15 strokes one side 15 another.
AND they allow mixed crews! Something you NEVER see in Rowing.

It was a beautiful day for sure.
