Here's some pictures of my new Bosch dishwasher. It's been running since December. So far, it's been a great machine. Everything comes out clean. It is so quiet. I think it's rated at 47 decibels. I can fit my tall wine glasses in the top rack without having to lay them sideways, like I used to do in my Kenmore Ultra wash.
The bottom rack, which I thought was smaller than the Kenmore, has actually more room, since the pegs are closer together. You can fit like 18 large plates at the back alone. And since it is a tall tub, they fit everywhere in the rack. In my Kenmore, I had to put them on the left half of the basket, because the upper rack was lower on the right side. I leave the upper basket in the lower position, and I get more clearance in the bottom rack than I used to get in the Kenmore.
Overall, I am very satisfied with this dishwasher. It was a little pricey, at 1400$ canadian, but what can you do. You got to spend to help the economy.

Wonder if that dishwasher was built in New Bern NC-can you check-thats about 15 miles from where I live.Bosch has a large appliance factory in New Bern NC-they build ranges and dishwashers there-they used to build power tools in the New Bern factory.

Wouldn't trade in my seven year old Bosch Integra for anything but another Bosch! I have a lower end Integra and the racks aren't as nice as yours, but I make do. I scrape plates but never ever rinse, and everything comes out clean on the regular cycle, no matter how dried the food is on the plates. I think it's only rated at 57 or 54 decibels, but even so you have to put your hand on the front panel to know if it's running. 47 decibels must be almost impossible to hear, except when it's filling or draining.

Would it be written somewhere on the machine, where it was built?

Yeah, it is made in the USA. It says: Made in the USA, from US parts, and imported parts.

Lovely machine!

Still a few more rows of tines (i.e. that run from left to right) as we look from front to back of the lower rack (there are only four rows) would make all the difference in "loadability".
