Louis thanks for the heads up, that Laden looks like a cool machine so does the Brant and that Lincoln Cadette!

The opening article is talking about the French tradition of Monday being laundry day and how that chore relates to the rest of the weeks household chores. And how labor intensive washing was in GrandMa's day with out an automatic washer to use.
So he has chosen Mondays to pick the "machine of the week" in honor of Monday's wash day.

that Laden really resembles the Launderall here but it looks like the Laden tub rolls front to back not side to side like the Launderall. Anybody ever see one of these?

Most European toploaders roll front to back instead side to side. The Ignis machines Diomede were one of the few exceptions to this rule. Machines that roll front to back can be less wide and take less space in the "bijou" apartments in Paris.
