Were these made by Norge for Montgomery Wards? I had a friend when I was growing up whose mom had a Montgomery Wards washer and dryer, in avocado green. Just about every time I would visit she was doing laundry but then she had four kids.

The model in the POD looks like it would be fun with all of those push buttons.

My companion and I once had this very set. They were beautiful, and although the washer was on the noisy side and gulped voluminous amounts of water, its performnance was impeccable. The matching dryer; not so much. The dryer we had was a postitive air flow type, meaning that the fan forced hot air into the drum, instead of exhausting it out. It was a real lint-o-rama.
