Picture time! A big thanks to Rich (trainguy) for the honor of owning this gorgeous Frigidaire. Also thanks to Patrick (pdub) who received and held this for me in Portland until I could make a trip down to get it. Of course I had a fabulous time trying out some of Patrick's machines.

As usual your visit was a lot of fun. Your new machine is the most pristine and beautiful Frigidaire I've ever seen. The tub, agitator, cabinet and controls look factory fresh. It's as if it's brand new and ready to go into a museum.

Of course your house rule of "one in - one out" benefitted me as well. I thank you immensely for that!

Gee, I guess I am now a member of the Unimatic Club too. I'll have pictures to share soon.

Patrick

Which one?

Was this the one the Lady never used because she was afraid of the spin? Or was it from Rich's collection?

I can only say how beautiful. Have fun using it.

Thanks,

Martin

from Rich's (trainguys) collection

And it was the one the Lady was afraid to use, Martin.
Rich, the twins are separated. Patrick now has the other unimatic!
Ben: I plan to use it only on special occasions, it tests fine and works. How lucky is that?
Thanks all for your nice remarks.
I reiterate what Jon just said: Patrick, you really should post some pictures of your wonderful collection. You have some amazing machines. And you're a gracious host ;-)

Wow Eddy that is a beautiful machine. one of the mint-y-ist ones out there. When you have time could you post some close up shots of the two stickers on the lid.

Lucky for that home demonstration or you wouldn't have this machine!

Eddy - Thanks! I will start taking pictures of my machines that are worthy of posting. It's something I've been meaning to do for a long time. You too are the perfect houseguest and friend so remember you are welcome anytime.

It's a good thing we got that demonstration from the "Authorized Frigidaire Dealer". Wasn't it amazing that EVERYTHING worked as it should on a machine that had sat unused for 50+ years. All rubber parts (except the original hoses) were soft as new ones. Yes, we even filled the pump with hot water and let it sit before turning it on.

This is an amazing machine and is truly of museum quality.

Of course I am happy to be the new owner of your former WO-65-2. Thank you again Eddy for making this dream come true.

Patrick
