Nice machine Greg!WAYTOGO! Love the light up console. I think the broken part is a connector for the lint filter and drain outlet. It is not the same as the lint filter/drain valve on my 65 KM,however it looks close. I think that is what it is. This is located on the left rear corner of the cabinet? Then that is what is should be. You will have to pull the spin basket to change that part. |

On second look, it is probably identical to yours, except for the color maybe. This one does have the third port for the dispensers. |

Greg, it's been a LOOONG time since I"ve seen this GE washer. My fav about it is the little option buttons. BTW, I think that Whirly is more like a 1964 or 1975 because it has both w'n'w and the 'new fangled' permanet press underneath that. A stretch would be 1966, but I think it's more like 64 or 65. Ya never cease to amaze me. Bob

BEAUTIFUL finds!!! Both are nice, TOL machines, and that GE is FAB with the wide horizontal buttons (and narrower "Osterizer-style" buttons as well). I'd take that one in a split second!!! Congratulations! |
