Here are 2 new machines to the collection, Considering the cost of WM's and Logics etc rising we took the plunge and got in before it was too late to add them to our collection. So heres a farewell thread to those workers and the factory who took pride in what they did and made great machines. Spent a sunny afternoon in the garden tidying them up and getting them ready to go. Hoover Ecologic 1300 in Harmony Beige. The last machines to roll off the production line worthy of bearing the Hoover name, 17 years before Hoover were to shut, 1300rpm Delay Timer 5kg |

What colour is the drum paddle on hoover ecologic? If it's not green then it's a logic with an ecologic panel etc. Because my gran had logic 1200, my aunt had ecologic 1200, grandads sis had ecologic 1300 and grnas bro had logic 1300. And one of my neughbours daughter is using her aunts ecologic 1300 in cream white. Correcy me if i'm worng. Ok, But great photos and clean condition after your touch up. |

Fully working? yes thanks it is. Your neighbour has 20 - 30 WM's eh? Shame the locals dont know a good thing when they see it I suppose. Folk can be so uneducated these days cant they :) Videos of the Hoover and Hotpoint, who knows when they will come so just persevere as next weekend I will be sorting out our Hotpoint Countess and we will be off around local repair and recon shops that we have newly discovered in search of some other things to add to the collection. |

Electron? You mean this one Paul, Never dawns on me half the time we own the Electron. Found exactly the opposite with wash performance and thats not because I am biased towards Hotpoint but was sorely dissappointed with the Hoovers wash when we first got it. Rather short tumbles and lacking in the rinse department yet wasting all that water too. The 3060's had the best programmes with decent spins between all the rinses not 1 between 4. Better than anything modern but I wouldnt swap a NIB one for any trusty old Hotpoint. My opinion though ~ Hope your well, been umming and arring about sending you an email, perhaps I should of but didnt want to pester you incase you were busy. Invitations I made last year still stand, just let us know. Rob |
