By the way Bob Appnut, this is the Sears machine I'm always telling you reminds me of a 58 Frigidaire because of the pointer, square timer dial and the colors going around. |

Hey, let's see some pictures of the inside of that washer, and maybe an action shot!! My parents had that exact dryer when I was a kid. They bought it in '63 (the year I was born) to do the diapers. |

Aside from the model number, which is reliable dating for certain, you might be able to see a date stamp on the transmission, like mine has, assuming it wasn't replaced entirely during the course of the machine's life and didn't wear off. Mine is on the side facing the access panel and says simply "AUG 4 61." |

The Kenmore model numbers indicated the year by the 1st and 3rd number after the 110. Not always totally reliable though. And almost never after 1996. Ed |
