faulty with thier computer (which I have no evidence or knowledge of that) or too expensive. I know I had only seen them once or three or so times in applicance stores. Very expensive for a top loading Maytag. I have always wanted a set, and often think of these rare machines. SactoTeddybear, you say your have litterature on them. I would love to see it. Pulltostart, you say you have information as well? Would love to see it. Email me underseperate cover and see what we can come up with. Steve |

I once upon a time had 2 sets of these. They were awsome! They were not big sellers because of the price. The msrp on the washer was $899 and the dryer was $750 if I remember right. The set in the pic is the 9900. In 94 they changed it to a 9904. There were no major changes just grafics on the control panel, the tub opening was made bigger on the washer and the dryer door became reversible. This was also the begining of the flex12.

Those are certainly neat looking control panels! I've always like vaccum fluroescent screens like this washer has. Very "star-wars" looking ! |
