Thanks! Sounds like I could have eliminated the "Check switch" and had a running machine! Didn't think to "pry" earlier-- I never expected such a machine to get evicted. |

Hi Steve, You can't eliminated the check switch...you'll cause a short if you do. BTW NLA on my end for the tub cover light lens. Sorry!! |

Incorporated with the lid switch there IS a fuse.However,the part to replace it is another lid switch that,as I began to say ,is incorporated with the part.So,instead of just replacing the fuse alone,you need to replace that entire switch.When I worked at Direct Maytag in Altamonte Springs,Florida, I replaced a lot of them on machines customers were replacing with Neptunes.What a nightmare that became!!!
