I found a dinosaur of a dryer, not so much in age but size. I have never seen such a wide dryer. The door is like a fridge door. It is very interesting as inside where the lint screen is located is a sensor which detects temperature. Knock on wood, I cleaned over 30 years of lint out and so far every load has dried wonderfully to the normal setting on automatic. And it is amazingly quiet. I tried looking up the age but it didnt come up anyone have an idea? DDE8105NCCWH....HN201042A

I have that same model except it's gas, it is really wide,also has the sensor on the lint filter,I haven't hooked it up to gas yet,but turned it on and it is really quiet, your's looks a lot nicer, the drum on mine is in great shape too,It's staying downstairs in the garage so I wasn't concerned with cosmetics,just wanted a gas dryer to save on electricity to dry heavy items. My Maytag DE 308 takes a long time,I like the look of it in my laundry room but really want to replace it with a gas one,a center dial or one to match my LAT series washer.
