I haven't mentioned alot about this here in forums but have discussed with two highly knowledegeable club members the problems that I am having with my newly acquired Solid Tub Frigidaire Rollermatic.

With the help and advice of others I have checked many things on the machine to locate the sorce of the terrible vibration and overbalancing issues.

We have determined that it needs a new tub. If anyone here has a 12lb solid tub for the Frigidaire's that you want to sell please contact me at jocomp@charter.net so that I can keep this machine alive and running.

Thanks in advance,
Joe

Is this the machine you mentioned that had the tub that hangs or lists toward the right-rear of the machine?

Nope, I don't think that was me, the tub never did "list" but it vibrates like crazy in
Rapidry and overbalances easy. Through the help of others here in the club we have determined that the cast iron pellets in the balance ring have gotten moisture to them and have rusted together.
