I have a possible opportunity to look at a ABC electric wringer with a copper tub. Has anyone out there had any experience with these and what they may be worth? Is it worth a look or should I run the other way? Does anyone have a picture?

Hi RCD, Wow, that is an early one it sounds like to me. I have never seen one like that before and I live 35 miles away from where that was made. I would take a look at it if I were you and see what its all about. at one time, ABC was the 3rd. largest manufacturer of appliances in the USA. If you get a pic, I would love to see it. Gary

I'm going to look at it soon. He's not sure if it works. Also playing that "I don't want to screw you but I'm not going to be screwed either" line on price but won't actually come out and NAME a price. He says it's worth a bit just for the copper... EEyyiiieee!!!

I HATE that game! Tell me what you want for an item. I will not put a price on the things someone else has for sale.
Usually when I name a price for someone, their price is just a "bit" higher....

It's really only worth what someone's willing to pay for it. I've bought plenty of copper tub wringer washers for $35-100. People really seem to think everything old is worth big money. In reality, it isn't. Like I said at the beginning, it's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
