Any ideas who made this? I've emailed the seller to ask for a tub shot. I'm guessing that it's a pulsator machine? $100 bucks seems a bit steep don't you think? How old would it be?

This looks like an Australian machine to me though it could have been made somewhere else just like GE mobile maids.

It is a similar size to the Simpson Mini-matic - meaning about 3.5kg or about 8lb....

The Simpson was an agitator machine, but I can't remember if the Hoover is or not

it is made in Japan by Sanyo. It is a pulsator machine. (impeller)

They were sold in Canada (110v) and in Australia (240v).

When I first went to Oz in 1988, the very first house i lived in had one of these and it is an impeller machine. A very good one from what i remember!

I never new Automatic Hoover laundry appliances were sold in North America. Well not since those Blackstone machines.

They are real cuties these machines. They are a minature of the full size Hoover at the time which makes then even cuter.

Hoover Cadet

I have one of these in fair condition with some new spares if anyone is interested(for free). It would be a pick up only situation in the west of Sydney.
