Riding down the road...YARD SALE...spotted a gyrator...haggled down to $30.00...needs a little clean up and care...some rust on the bottom...maytag label on front really faded...no ,odel number avail...label on back shows many patents from 1916 to 1935, but thats it...plugged it in and it works fine may need a new belt...the drain connector at the bottom of the tub has corroded off...can this be replaced or should I make up a new fitting thru the bottom of the tub...also the shaft under the agitator is split....but it is copper and I wonder if I could solder it shut...the roller are in good condition...out side of that, some sanding and painting and a little buffing and I should have a cool showpiece

just wondered if anyone had any more info on this washer

thanks...yogi
