I called and left a message to go and look at this set. Let's hope the guy calls me back, WML. I think this is a "STEAL".

It looks like an older 806 suds saver and a not quite matching, but still very nice dryer (with a pilot light)!!!

Yes by all means, GRAB THEM!

I'm hoping the dryer is electric, I've got my fingers crossed, LOL.

I don't see the access door for the pilot or the blue flame on the console. Chances are it's electric. That 806 will be loads of fun!!

If this is the set I'm thinking it is, the previous owners owned a hardware store here in town, and these machines were well taken of by them. Don't know if they've been abused over the past 2yrs. since I last saw them at their estate sale. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Well, I went and looked at the set and they did belong to the previous homeowners that I mentioned in post #352290. They're a A806S, and a DE606. The serial no. for the washer is: 790615OK, and the dryer: 713736BH. They're in great shape, the only defect I found was that the door knob on the dryer got broken off moving them out of the basement. The kid had no clue that the washer had a lint filter until I pulled it off the top of the agitator. It wasn't that gunked up, surprisingly! I think I've got the wife convinced, lol.

SCORE!!!

Well I got it, now I have to arrange to pick it up. The dryer was hard-wired originally, how difficult will it be to attach a 220v plug?
