Suspension leg that I go on about. I think these in the AEG look cheap - Maybe thats why the drum bounces about. Also on side is the noise insulation panel material again. |

PUMP view close up. This pump, pumps water out and operates the water jet within the drum. |

I reckon if I take the top of the Westinghouse it is going to look the same as the Privileg. It was bought in 2006, though I know it was made in 2005. The key difference being the position of the dial and option buttons. Ours are the reverse. I've just had a conversation at work as one of the ladies 6yr old Whirlpool has leaky bearings. She has been quoted AUD$450 (GBP216, E247 USD$351) to get it fixed. I have an Electrolux badged Zanussi Jetsystem machine in a rental that is 4yrs old (all push button style) that I am considering selling her... BUT...would I be better off with it here and giving her the Westinghouse? I love the cycle flexibility on the Westinghouse, but know the Electrolux whilst older, has done no work... Thoughts? |

re the suspension legs. Maybe cos they are too small. Drum has hit the glass door a few times on a spin doing this... |

Back view inside. See all that insulation material. I don't really notice it making the machine any quieter as the motor noise comes from under the washing machine! |

Aeg03: My mum has the same machine as yours! You've commented on my videos on youtube before! I think it's a brilliant machine! Ronhic. The all push button electrolux models. there one of my favourite. I'm tryin to get my hands on one at the moment actally. I don't think you could lose either way whichever machine you sell to the lady!! Darren |

I agree really. I love that model for its very clean lines and Jetsystem. My concern at the moment is that as we have been known to do 20 loads per week...including up to 14 loads of dog bedding (we have a dog that has had [still?] double ectopic ureters which even after 3 lots of corrective surgery she still has continence issues especially in winter) ...so the Westinhouse has done approximately 7yrs work in 3yrs. It does have a creak coming from it at times...but the bearings are smooth and everything works brilliantly... |

Hey ronhic, I too love the clean lines on that model its one of my favourite designed models! It seems like you should keep the electrolux for yourself if your westinghouse is taking a battering!!!! I would happily repreave it from you if it weren't for the 1000's of miles between us lol!! Favorit!: My parents have this machine too: The difference between easy iron is no interm spins basically theres a cooldown at the end of the wash but there is also a cooldown on easy care 40 too. Darren, Never let it be said you aren't generous! Machines are not expensive here compared to what they used to be and I am thinking that running the westinghouse into the ground makes more sense...I can get at least $300 for the Electrolux even though it is 4yrs old...and put that money to a new machine when the time comes |
