So the next time I drop my cell phone in the toilet and it doesn't work. I will clean it really good and let it dry out for a week :)

My brother washed his old Samsung cell phone 3 times. I told him NOT to turn it on and to take it apart (remove battery, rear cover, ect), place it over the A/C vent and turn on the A/C (A/C absorbs moister). Worked every time.

I've always had the Max Extract option turned on when I wash my cell phone in my MAH4000 so I can use it right out of the tub. :^)

maybe max extract worked for his phone also? LOL

On our MAH6500 my roomate usually uses max extract,I`m alwase on him about checking his pockets for things.Actually we didn`t line dry the phone just took the photo of it on the line as a novelty. He opened up the back took battery out dryed it in the sun on the picknick table.in 3 hours it worked he call the land line from the back yard!!!
When I was using my front load Westinghouse "laundry mat washer" and coins would get into the pump he`d get the blame ,those washers had a bad habbit of doing that plus twisting bed sheets up since they only washed in one direction

I'm not sure if this says something good about the phone, or something bad about the Neptune...

I have that same exact model cell phone. It's considered an "older model" by my cell phone company and they no longer stock batteries or cases for it!
