Thought this lady might want to become a member of the club. She needs to be careful, however, she might give herself a severe headache!!

I have always wanted this ad put on a T-Shirt, my favorite Frigidaire ad ever! There's another ad from this same era that shows the machine and says: "chosing a washer is like chosing a good man..." something like that - also a great one for a t-shirt!

I have already informed my wife that I will be decorating our laundry with this type of art. She just rolled her eyes but then again she doesn't get to do the laundry :-) ! This is one of my projects for the summer as the laundry needs a good painting, etc. Once done I will post a pic or two...

Wanted: A Man as Dependable as a Frigidaire!

Can I cast an early vote to choose this for the next convention? ;-)

A Man As Dependable as a Frigidaire...

Sorry, both are a myth.

Greg ... I agree!! Sometimes, however, mythology may be all that we have!! :-)

I think both of these would make great t-shirts!

What?

So....are we saying that "dependable man" and dependable Frigidaire" are oxymorons? My bubble has been burst! :-(

Here's my two-cents:

I'm voting with you, Venus. IMHO those would make great t-shirt candidates.

Can I order mine custom?

I'd go for the first ad where her head is in the machine with the second caption, somewhat revised.

"Finding a good washer is like finding a good man. May I see the agitator again, please? "

LOL

What's under the hood?

Oh Steve, I'm not even going to go there! ;-) I can see that I am going to have to keep you in line at the convention! LOL

Have no fear V, with all those agitaors swishing around, I will be too mesmerized to say ANYTHING out of line.

But if anyone is even a little bit of a pshycic or a mind reader, be forewarned.

More thoughts

I'd go for the first ad where her head is in the machine with the second caption, somewhat revised.

"Finding a good washer is like finding a good man. Now where should I plug this in first?"
LOL

Thawing the Frigidaire Head First

I think she has the wrong appliance but the right attitude. Or the right appliance and the wrong altitude. If this model had two speeds, then it would be more reliable than her husband at the touch of a finger. All I know is that when my sister came to visit and saw my 1-18 in action, she told her husband to leave the room.
